Alejandro Cremades leads the vision and execution for Onevest as its Co-Founder and Executive Chairman. Onevest is currently one of the leading startup investing platforms. Through its curated marketplace, investors gain access to high-quality, pre-vetted investment opportunities. Prior to Onevest, Alejandro was an attorney at King & Spalding where he was involved in one of the largest investment arbitration cases in history with $113 billion at stake (Chevron vs. Ecuador).

Alejandro guest lectures at NYU Stern School of Business and The Wharton Business School. Alejandro has been included in the Top 30 Under 30 lists of Vanity Fair, Entrepreneur Magazine, and GQ Magazine. Alejandro has also been involved with the JOBS Act since inception. He was invited to the White House and the US House of Representatives to provide his stands on the new regulatory changes.

Alejandro is also the author of the book The Art of Startup Fundraising. The book is published by John Wiley & Sons and includes a foreword by Barbara Corcoran.

Stephane Dubois was recently named to Institutional Investor’s Tech 50 list of financial visionaries and innovators, Stephane Dubois is a recognized software and market data industry executive who founded Xignite to pioneer market data in the cloud. Stephane Dubois is a well-known fintech thought leader and is frequently quoted in publications, including Forbes, MarketsMedia, WallStreet & Technology,Financial News, Bob’s Guide, Inside Reference Data, and Venture Capital Journal.

He has spoken at numerous fintech events around the world, including Finovate, FinDEVr, DKF, WFIC and The Money Conference. Prior to founding Xignite, Stephane was Vice President of Product Management at Advent Software, the leading provider of software solutions for the investment management industry. Prior to Advent, Stephane held senior product and marketing management positions at Walker Interactive Systems andOracle Corporation. Stephane holds an MS in Management from M.I.T. Sloan School of Management and MS and BS degrees in international management from the MBA Institute in Paris.

Ryan Feit

Ryan Feit co-founded SeedInvest because he saw the need for a better way to connect entrepreneurs and investors. Prior to founding SeedInvest, Ryan worked at Wellspring Capital Management and Lehman Brothers in New York City where he invested in, financed and managed dozens of private and public businesses. Ryan was instrumental in the passage of the 2012 JOBS Act, which changed 80-year-old U.S. securities laws to make it possible for entrepreneurs to raise capital over the Internet. Since then, Ryan has worked closely with members of the SEC, FINRA, the White House, and the Treasury Department on the implementation of the JOBS Act and frequently serves as a subject matter expert on startup investing and the JOBS Act for the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Post, CNBC, FoxBusiness, the Economist, the New York Times, Fortune Magazine and Inc. Magazine. Ryan received an MBA in Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Liza Benson joined StarVest as Partner in January 2014. Prior to StarVest, Ms. Benson was Managing Director of Highbridge Principals Strategies and primarily focused on ecommerce, digital media and advertising technologies. At StarVest, Ms. Benson sits on the Boards of Ceros, RAMP, Transactis and is a Board Observer for Xignite, OpenSlate, UrbanBound and CrowdTwist.

Prior to joining Highbridge in 2008, Ms. Benson was a Managing Director with Bear Stearns’ Constellation Growth Capital.  In the past, she has been a board member at Widevine (sold to Google), Webify (sold to IBM), Siperian (sold to Informatica) and K12 (Public Company on NYSE: LRN), each of which was successfully exited.  She also led an investment in Capital IQ which was sold to McGraw-Hill.  Previously, Ms. Benson was an investment banker at Patricof & Co. and First Union.  Ms. Benson received a BA in Mathematical Economics, summa cum laude, from Colgate University, where she was a Charles A. Dana Scholar.

David Teten (teten.com) is a Partner with ff Venture Capital (ffvc.com).  ffVC has made 245 investments in 76 companies since 2008.  David has advised clients such as Goldman Sachs Special Situations Group, Icahn Enterprises, LLR Partners ($1.4b fund), Birch Hill Equity Partners (C$2B fund), and other institutional investors.  David led or co-led the first studies on disruption in the investing industry, private equity and venture capital deal origination, and how VCs create portfolio company value.  He is a published author and frequent keynote speaker. He is also Founder and Chairman Emeritus of Harvard Business School Alumni Angels of Greater New York, the largest angel network in New York.

Jalak Jobanputra is a technology veteran with over 20 years as an entrepreneur and VC. Jalak founded Future\Perfect Ventures in 2014. She has invested in over 80 early stage companies over the past 15 years, resulting in several multibillion dollar acquisitions and IPOs. Previously, Jalak was a director at Omidyar Network managing mobile investments in emerging markets, and Senior Vice President at the New York City Investment Fund where she launched a seed tech fund and the Fintech Innovation Lab.  She was also at Intel Capital in Silicon Valley from 1999-2003, on the founding team of a web startup in 1997, and a tech/media/telecom investment banker at Lehman Brothers in NYC and London.  Jalak has served on multiple advisory boards for the White House, NYC Mayor’s Office, and the US State Department, and serves on the BOD for the Center for an Urban Future. She is a frequent contributor for CNBC, Bloomberg TV, Business Insider, Quartz Media, and Fox Business News. She has been active on Twitter since 2007 at @jalak.

Atish Davda is founder & CEO of EquityZen. Prior, he was product lead at Ampush, a big-data advertising technology firm. He launched SF-based Ampush’s New York office as first engineer of their Social business, and eventually successfully procured the coveted Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer membership as VP, Product. Atish began his career as a financial engineer at AQR Capital, before which, he founded and operated an education technology firm, Knolsoft. When not at the office, Atish can be found playing tennis and traveling.

Derek Webster is the Founder and CEO of CardFlight, based in New York City. CardFlight is a leading provider of mobile point-of-sale tools and technology that help merchants accept in-person credit card payments on iOS and Android devices. Prior to founding CardFlight, he was the Founder and CEO of LocalBonus, a credit card-linked loyalty network which rewarded consumers for purchases they make at local businesses. Earlier, Derek was an Engagement Manager at Oliver Wyman where he led C-level strategy projects for some of the leading global payment networks and retail banks. He was also part of the team that launched E*TRADE’s credit card business, where he personally led all product development and product marketing efforts for the group. Derek has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BS magna cum laude from Georgetown University.
